Your account

You need a unique @username, a verified email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your password and recovery code safe, and for activity from sessions you leave signed in.

Acceptable use

  • No harassment, threats, stalking or targeted abuse.
  • No spam, scams, phishing or bulk unsolicited messaging.
  • No impersonation of another person, brand or MsgMe staff.
  • No sexual content involving minors, and no content that promotes serious harm.
  • No attempts to break, probe or overload the service.

Enforcement

Reports are reviewed by moderators. Depending on what is found, MsgMe may issue a warning, remove specific content, suspend an account temporarily, or suspend it permanently. Actions are recorded with the reason and the moderator who took them.

Appeals

If your account is suspended you can submit one appeal at a time from the suspension screen. A moderator will review it and either restore the account or explain why the decision stands.

Availability

MsgMe is provided as-is while it is under active development. Features can change, and the service may be unavailable during maintenance.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion anonymises your history and permanently reserves your username.
