Nobody messages you uninvited
A stranger has to send a chat request first. Until you accept, they cannot message you, and declining tells them nothing beyond that the request is no longer pending.
Blocking is quiet
Blocking removes the other person's ability to message, call or request you. They are not told they were blocked — the app simply stops offering them a way through.
Reporting
You can report a person, a specific message, or a group from the app. A report includes the reason you picked, an optional description, and a limited snapshot of the content you reported. Reporting someone does not notify them.
What moderators can see
Moderators review the specific content attached to a report. They cannot browse conversations, open chats that were not reported, or read messages that nobody reported.
What happens after a report
A moderator can dismiss the report, remove the reported message, warn the account, or suspend it temporarily or permanently. Suspended people can appeal once per action.
Emergencies
MsgMe is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
